Founder and director Claire Watson has 30 years experience in the media, working for TVNZ, TV3, BBC, Radio New Zealand, Maori Television and Newstalk ZB.  A significant portion (way more than she cares to remember) of that time as Executive Producer of the country’s then number one morning TV show “Breakfast” on TVNZ.  She’s also been the Executive Producer of One News. 

Director Lee Taylor also has 30 years in the news and communications industry.  Lee's comprehensive experience includes being a staff writer for the New Zealand Herald, an original producer for TV3's Campbell Live programme as well as a wide range of experience at TVNZ working as a One News reporter, a Breakfast Producer and most recently an investigative story teller for One News.   In that role she  produced TVNZ's component of a major international investigation into the Panama Papers, the biggest ever leak of financial transactions.

The Blame the Media team has access to experienced and talented camera operators, editors and producers around the country, and overseas if you need, and we’re always keen to develop innovative strategies to help you tell your story.
